Where Leapsome fits better

From what Leapsome’s own pages say, line by line:

Engagement surveys

  • Leapsome. Leapsome offers a 14-day free trial and surveys in 38 languages. Its Engagement module includes industry benchmarks.

360 feedback

  • Leapsome. Leapsome builds 360 feedback into its Performance Reviews module, with a 14-day free trial before you buy.

Reviews and 1:1s

  • Leapsome. Leapsome sells reviews, goals and engagement surveys as modules on one platform, with a 14-day free trial. Its AI Review Assistant suggests clearer wording while a manager writes.

Where Facets is different

  • One seat per manager. The seat covers goals, quarterly check-ins, 1:1s, assessments, growth and stay conversations, Drafts, idea boards and Projects. A manager with eight reports pays the Manager plan's $7 a month, billed annually ($84 a year), and the eight people are never charged.
  • Engagement cycles bought one at a time. An engagement cycle is priced once per survey of the whole organization, by headcount: from $999 up to 100 employees to $9,499 up to 2,500. A second cycle in the same calendar year is 60% of list. Two cycles in a year at 100 people cost $999 and $599, $1,598 in all: about $1.33 a person a month.
  • A range on every score. Every group’s score comes with a 95% range, how far it could move by chance, and a change since the last cycle is marked only when it is reliable. A group appears once five people have answered, or more if you raise the floor when you set up the cycle.
  • A conversation after the results. In a cycle that lets managers see their own group, each manager whose group is published can hold a 30-minute team conversation, choosing from a library of 27 cited options, and the team’s commitments are checked six weeks later.
  • A Leadership 360 for one leader. A Leadership 360 is $99 a leader, and anyone can buy and run one. The leader predicts their ratings first, and raters’ comments are summarized in other words, never quoted. Since 29 October 2026 it includes a follow-up pulse 60 to 90 days after the brief.

Using both

Facets does not have to replace Leapsome. Its surveys are bought one at a time, so a company that keeps Leapsome for reviews and goals can still run a Facets team survey for one team of 3 to 12 people, a Leadership 360 for one leader, or an engagement cycle, without a second subscription.

What a Facets survey finds stays out of performance records. Team survey and engagement answers do not move into the manager tools; the one route is a Leadership 360 summary the leader chooses to send.

Questions

Is Facets an alternative to Leapsome?
For parts of it. Leapsome sells engagement surveys, reviews, goals and 1:1s as modules on one platform. Facets sells engagement cycles and Leadership 360s one at a time, and its manager tools per manager.
How do Facets' prices compare with Leapsome's?
Leapsome's pages list Engagement Surveys at €4 an employee a month; platform required with any module. Facets' engagement cycle is $999 up to 100 employees, and its manager tools are $7 a manager a month, billed annually.
Does Facets survey in more than one language?
Engagement cycles run in English or Spanish, one language a cycle; the Spanish was translated by a language model, back-translated and reconciled, not reviewed by a professional translator. The team survey and the 360 are in English. On Leapsome's pages: 38 languages.
Are Facets' engagement surveys anonymous?
They are confidential, not anonymous. Facets links each response to the person who gave it, so they can finish later and answer only once, but nobody with an account can read another person's answers as written.
Can I try Facets before buying?
Yes: the Manager plan has a 30-day trial, and an engagement cycle or a Leadership 360 can be bought on its own, one at a time. On Leapsome's pages: 14-day free trial.
